Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa shared details of the financial success of the esports organization NAVI. According to the entrepreneur, the team’s profit reaches millions of dollars, which emphasizes the growing influence of esports as an industry.
In an interview with Forbes Ukraine, Krippa noted that NAVI demonstrates steady growth not only in terms of revenue but also in terms of team expansion. While five years ago, the organization had about 30 players and employees, today it has more than 200 employees.
NAVI remains the largest esports organization in Ukraine, representing the country on the international stage and attracting the attention of investors from all over the world. Krippa emphasized that the development of esports opens up new business opportunities and helps to popularize Ukraine on the global stage.
The secret of success of the Ukrainian esports organization
NAVI has long ceased to be just a Ukrainian esports organization – it has firmly established itself among the TOP 5 best teams in the world. The popularity of NAVI is growing every year, and the team’s matches consistently attract a huge audience. Over the past seven years, the total viewing time of NAVI competitions has reached an impressive 571 million hours, which is one of the highest in the industry.
The main investor and owner of the team is Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa. His financial support for NAVI began in 2018, when the organization needed substantial investments for further development. According to Krippa, at the beginning of the investment, the team was unprofitable, requiring annual subsidies of about $1.5 million.
However, the situation changed dramatically within a year. Krippa was able to bring NAVI to a level of profitability. But real changes were ahead for the organization. The organization made a fundamental decision to completely refuse to cooperate with Russian players.
According to Krippa, this step was crucial and opened up new horizons for the team.

“We have achieved fantastic results and significantly increased our revenues,” said the businessman.
Moving away from the Russian market allowed the team to expand its presence in global esports and attract new partners and viewers from around the world.
Financial aspect of esports
Maksym Krippa emphasizes that esports is an extremely profitable business today. The annual profit from esports projects is measured in millions of dollars, and this figure continues to grow. Krippa notes that the popularity of esports is rapidly gaining momentum, with the number of its fans increasing by 30-40% annually. The entrepreneur predicts that in the coming years, the audience of esports will equal the number of fans of traditional sports disciplines. Generational change plays an important role in this, as young people are increasingly interested in virtual competitions.
In addition to NAVI, Maksym Krippa is the owner of Maincast, which is also active in the esports segment. Maincast organizes and broadcasts large-scale esports tournaments, which brings in additional millions of dollars in revenue annually.
However, Krippa emphasizes that despite the rapid development of this industry, it is not yet the main source of his income. The businessman makes the biggest profit from real estate investments. In particular, a significant portion of his assets is made up of properties in the United Arab Emirates, which demonstrate a steady increase in value and provide a high level of profitability.
Thus, Maksym Krippa successfully combines his interests in esports and real estate, creating a diversified business model that generates significant income from various sources.
